Non U3A events that members may be interested in

Added on: Tue 11th September 2018

We have been made aware of a couple of events that are happening over the next few months that may interest PU3A members.

There are no reccomendations being made here - we have no idea whether they will live up to expectations - that is for you to decide if you do attend.

1.  Festival of Remembrance, 7.30pm Friday 9th November at The Cresset Peterborough:
Peterborough Male Voice Choir and Peterborough Voices present a moving evening of words and choral music to commemorate the city's fallen soldiers and mark the centenary of the end of World War One, in support of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

We are delighted to offer U3A members a discount of 10% off bookings of 10+ for Festival of Remembrance using offer code PS10.
Tickets available at or by phone from The Cresset box office on 01733 265705.

2. Christmas Magic, 2.30pm and 7.30pm Saturday 15th December at Peterborough Cathedral:
Firmly established as the region's favourite Christmas celebration, Christmas Magic will take place in the spectacular setting of Peterborough Cathedral as it celebrates 900 years! There will be something for everyone, with festive favourites including Hark The Herald Angels Sing, Walking In The Air, Away In A Manger, Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem, Little Saint Nick, Santa Baby, Carol of the Bells, Sleigh Ride, White Christmas and many more, performed by Peterborough Male Voice Choir, Peterborough Voices and Peterborough Youth Choir with Peterborough Festival Brass.

Discounts are available on bookings of 10+ for Christmas Magic, both on the matinee performance at 2.30pm and on the evening performance at 7.30pm.
Early Bird discounts are also available on individual bookings until 1st October.
Tickets available at or by phone on 0333 666 3366.

Group bookings are now open and early booking is highly recommended as there is limited availability at these discounted prices.
