Archaeology and the Human Journey

We meet once a month on the fourth Tuesday in the Community Room at St Mary's Court, the tower block of flats opposite the Passport Office in the centre of town.  We explore the history of the human race from the dawn of time to the present day (more or less) through a mixture of talks by outside experts and members' contributions.  Despite the group's name trowels and knee pads are not obligatory, but an interest in who we are, where we come from and the many and varied ways human beings have manifested themselves over the years would help.
