Family History

We are a very friendly group made up of experienced family historians and some beginners. Our ethos is to help one another, and we arrange a very varied programme of workshops, speakers and visits. We do not meet in Juy and August. Please find details of our programme - we are always open to members suggestions for activities please do not hesitate to contact either of us details below. we look forward to welcoming new members at any of our meetings.

January 16th                         Talk by Richard Bradley. The role of the 1851 Census enumerator

 

February  20th                       Discussion groups -World war 1 and your family

 

March 20th                            Talk by Don Chiswell on William Morris and the Arts &

                                          Crafts  Movement.

 

April17th                                     Talk by Stuart Orme,-Peterborough, past, present

                                                    and future.

 

May15th                                      Social History outing.  A guided tour of .

                                                     Peterborough Cathedral.

 

June19th                                      What have you achieved in your research. Share

                                                      your  breakthroughs and findings.
